Context
This entry contains my Legal Memo assignment for course SDAD 5800: Higher Education Law. I collaborated with a fellow SDA peer to assess Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 in relation to institutions providing equitable and accessible support for students with varying disabilities during the Coronavirus pandemic
Demonstrable Skills
This entry demonstrates my ability to engage in thoughtful and intentional research practices to further my understanding of an unfamiliar area of higher education. I was also able to conduct an analysis of this federal law and include current research pertaining to the changing needs of students with disabilities.

ARTIFACT INTRODUCTION
Context
This entry contains my Critical Analysis of an Equity Plan for course SDAD 5910: Diversity & Inclusion in Higher Education in which I assessed the equity plan for Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois. Throughout the course, we learned critical information pertaining to not only why diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are important, but how to go about incorporating DEI into educational practices authentically and intentionally.

This entry demonstrates my ability to incorporate a diversity, equity, and inclusion lense to assess the equity plan using Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) analysis framework.
